The SL964 from Signatrol is a battery powered data logger suitable for measuring fluid level and temperature. The self-contained data logger is particularly suited for portable installations or where traditionally it has not been possible to provide conventional power supplies.

A high accuracy, stainless steel, submersible pressure transducer provides level measurement for recording by a high-resolution data logger mounted in the same stainless steel assembly.

The SL64 is now available with outside dimension of 24mm as standard and with both 19mm and 10mm options.
    
The electronics are then connected to battery enclosure via a vented cable. The vented cable ensures that unlike other borehole / submersible data loggers, the level measurements are automatically compensated for changes in atmospheric pressure. The interconnecting cable is factory fitted to the required length.
Logged data can be extracted via a communications cable, which connects between the serial port of a suitable PC and the data logger. The interface between the data logger and the computer is RS232. Once the data have extracted from the data logger, the data are saved in CSV format and viewed in a spreadsheet package.

Typical Applications include level measurement in wells, bore holes, waste water, reservoirs, lakes and rivers, tank monitoring and sewage treatment plants.

The SL964 can now be supplied with a triband GSM modem that allows the operator to dial in to remote sites and view the current level and temperature (if option is chosen) as well as download stored data. There is also an option so send SMS text messages. SL960-GSM datasheet is available
